This Week.....

This week I've been working on

Schemes for some Fabulous and Varied Houses:

..............................................

HOUSE 1

- 1 of 2 town houses next door to each other:

The client requested an airy, fresh and tranquil feel, with layered textures.

To achieve this I chose voiles from the fabulous Romo collection of Natural Linen Sheers, for the Living Room

These will be lined with white lining to add depth and to brighten the look, with a simple cartridge heading.

The poles throughout the house are Modern Country from

In the Kitchen Brera from Designers Guild is to be used as a roller blind and also for curtains; taking the same textures forward to a more substantial weave from the Brera collection, since this room will also be used for evening dining.

The bedrooms bring in a little restful pattern from

I have used colourways which echo each other, as you can see both bedrooms on the landing; just as you can see both kitchen and living room from the first floor landing.

This dual aspect layering adds to the sense of flow and tranquility throughout the house.

The client will add splashes of colour once the curtains are in place:

Carpets throughout are natural:
Walls are white

Windows in cloakrooms and bathrooms are dressed discreetly and simply, with sheer rollers:
